Columbus is the commercial hub of the Chattahoochee Valley and Georgia's largest metro outside Atlanta, sitting on the Alabama line about 100 miles southwest of the city. Fort Moore drives a constant pipeline of hospitality, medical office and multifamily work across the south side. Healthcare anchors include Piedmont Columbus Regional, where we have worked, and St. Francis-Emory. Columbus State University and the Muscogee County School District together operate dozens of multi-storey buildings. Downtown has been rebuilt around the riverfront and the whitewater course, with hotels, mixed-use conversions and corporate offices for Aflac, Synovus and TSYS. Apartment communities such as Providence Pointe keep adding low-rise elevators on the north side, and Phenix City across the river adds hospitality and retail work to the same trip. We travel to Columbus for new construction, modernization and service on larger projects, and we schedule return visits so a single job never leaves a building without support.
